Bajaj Auto has launched the CT110 in the Indian market. The 110 cc commuter motorcycle is available in two variants – Kick Start and Electric Start, and it will be positioned CT100 and the more premium Platina 110 in the brand's product lineup. The base variant is priced at INR 37,997, while the Electric Start variant retails at INR 44,352.
To help differentiate the CT110 with the CT100, Bajaj has introduced the new motorcycle with a host of cosmetic upgrades which include new decals and body graphic, blacked-out treatment to the engine, handlebars, suspension and the alloy wheels.
Coming to the engine, the motorcycle is powered by the same 115cc, air-cooled, DTS-i motor from the Platina 110. This motor produces 8.6bhp at 7000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5,000rpm while it comes mated to a four-speed gearbox. The suspension and braking setup on the bike remains similar to the CT100.
It gets telescopic forks with 125mm of travel at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear with 100mm of travel. Braking is handled by drum brakes at both ends, assisted by Anti-Skid Braking which is Bajaj’s version of the combi-braking system.
The CT110 in three colour options including glass ebony black, matte olive green and glass flame red.
